These bars are my go-to when I’m craving yummy, healthy, grab & go food. They’re sweet, salty, crunchy, everything your heart could desire!
Makes 12 bars
Ingredients :
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup almond butter
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 Brown sugar
1ts salt
1TBS vanilla extract
1/2 cup each, almonds, dates & pecans, roughly chopped
1/2 cup flax seeds
2TBS sunflower seeds
1/3 cup hazelnut meal
Method:
Line a 27cm x 17cm rectangle baking pan with baking paper & set aside.
combine all ingredients in a large bowl, making sure everything is mixed well.
pour mixture into prepared pan, pressing into corners, making sure the mixture is evenly distributed.
bake in oven for 25 minutes, or until golden & toasty.
cool in tray, then cut into bars.
coat in or drizzle on melted dark chocolate & top with flakey salt if desired.
